Obituary of Mark Anthony Dodson Sr.

Mark Anthony Dodson Sr., 54, of Zion, IL passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, surrounded by his family and friends, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 21, 1960 to Emmet and Jacqueline (Guillet) Dodson of Zion. He married Cindy Young (Tweedy) on December 30, 1997. His hobbies were fishing, working on cars, hitting the slots, watching Hard Core Pawn, and Chicago Bears football. Survivors include his wife Cindy; children Mark (Arielle) Dodson Jr. of Zion IL, Aimee (Mike) Dodson-Somers of Round Lake, IL, Ronald Tweedy of Montana, Krishna Tweedy, Mark Young Jr., and Matthew Young of Kenosha, WI, and Patrick Young of Spokane, WA; eleven grandchildren Mikel and Matthew Somers, Brianna and Ronald Jr. Tweedy, Joshua and Samantha Tweedy, Madison Young, Matthew Jr., and Logan Young, and two on the way, Karen Somers and Greyson Emberleigh Dodson; sisters Sandy (Chuck) Tweedy of Zion, IL, Barb Kermorvant of Kenosha, WI, Brenda Klebba of Burlington, WI, and Grace Ladewig of Kenosha, WI; and several sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmet and Jacqueline Dodson; and his brother Thomas Dodson. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Cemetery, Kenosha, WI.
