We all value our time. We show that we love something, actually love it, by giving it our time. Grandpa gave his time to us grandkids. He picked us up to help with whatever build he was working on, to go to whatever improvement store he was headed to, or to just go to the Spot with him for a milkshake. He loved his grandchildren with so much zest and ziel. He bragged about our acheivement and shared our pains. He was always there. With a joke, or a poke, and maybe a song. Always the entertainer and always full of love. He bought me my first guitar, he gave me the gift of music. I love my grandpa very much. I wish that someday, I can teach and love my grandkids as much as he did me.
Grandpa wasn't outwardly religious, he didn't preach to us. But he taught us how to be like Jesus. He taught us carpentry, the value of hard work, and the strength of family. All lessons I will carry with me, till I meet him again. I love you Grandpa.
