My condolences to Kathy's family. I graduated with her in '74 but lost track as it happens in life, but she is a part of my many high school memories.

My condolences to Kathy's family and friends. She is dear to me and always will be. My heart goes out to you all. I know it's harder for those left behind when someone passes over suddenly although it may be easier for the departed. Those who read this may know that I visited Kathy whenever I was in the area and used to call her throughout our lives. Roommate, fellow performer, friend, chosen family and adopted little sister. She will never be forgotten. I wish I could have attended her passing ceremonies. I did inform as many performers who knew Kathy as I could and posted her obituary on facebook. I hope this was suitable. I know she would have wanted many of them to know. xxxooo Lee

My prayers and thoughts are with Kathy's family. When our family first moved to Zion we lived across Bethesda Blvd. from The Sterling family. Kathy and I became great friends. I had many sleep overs at their house. I will never forget the sweet pickle sandwiches. When The Sterlings moved to the west side of Zion, Kathy and I still hung out. Diana and Charity Kathy's sisters always made me feel like a sister and Kathy's parents were so fun. Great memories with this family. I am so sorry to hear she has passed. Way to young. Such great accomplishments. She will be missed. Rest in peace sweet girl. Debby

Kathy, was a wonderful woman who when I first met her was able to share with me her experiences in Unions and her passion for human rights. I felt so honored to care for and as a couple years past she could not share those stories any longer but never lost her laugh and smile. She was gracious and grateful to everyone who came to help assist her in any way. She taught me and our whole Team a lot about life through her acceptance. Less I forget for the rest of my life Harry Potter will never be spoken of or seen without thoughts of Kathy nor a vampire, a dragon, a king or knight. May she be blessed and happy forever rewarded for her deep love of family and friends and dedication to the common working man and woman.

I enjoyed meeting Kathleen as she and her Dad worked to submit her membership application into the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Little Fort Chapter in Waukegan. Her membership in our patriotic organization was always very important to Kathleen. I only wish that I had been able to visit her lately. My thoughts and prayers are with Diana and her family at this sad time.

Christopher and Diana:
Kathy was my friend and although we live in different parts of the country; when we saw each other, we were still good friends. She has been in my thoughts often as of late. I have been remembering our time together in the Horeb Street gang: slumber parties, outdoor games, school. So many great memories.
Kathy grew into the woman she wanted to be. She will be missed.
I pray that God fills your hearts and minds with beautiful memories, to help ease the hurt that comes with this journey.
May God Bless you,
Vickie and Peter
