Obituary of Ruth Banak Wilson

Ruth A. "Midge" Banak Wilson (nee Jenkins), 58, of Zion, IL died on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. She was born June 9, 1953 in Waukegan, IL and had lived in the Lake County area all of her life. Ruth was a devoted grandmother who was affectionately known as "Mima". Survivors include her children Jamie (Alex) Banak of Zion, IL, Stacie (Chad) Kopp of Lake Mills, IA, Tony (Irene) Banak of Gibsonton, FL, and Stephanie (Gavin) Sibayan of Colorado Springs, CO; fifteen grandchildren Johnny L. Bowers, Kyle Saez, Michael Jones, Fairquise Pope, Tyler Jones, Alexis Edwards, Tapaynga Hummel, Angel Banak, Madison Kopp, Autumn Kopp, James H. Edwards, Gavin Sibayan, Jayden Edwards, Telen Sibayan, and Veronica Banak; her father Phillip Jones of Flemington, MO; and one brother Thomas (Jeannie) Jenkins Jr. of Waukegan, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Wilson; her mother Clara Jones; and one sister Judith Jenkins. Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2011, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, where a celebration of life service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
