Ma, on D-Day, my father William D. Roberts Jr. helped take the beach in Normandy, France to prevent a monster from taking over the world. I wonder if you were being born as his men were under fire to protect millions of people. Who knew my dad was ensuring the freedom and safety of my mother-in-law on the day of her birth? Who knew I would join the service as well and find your daughter on a military installation, be separated from her for two years, then come back and marry her. No choice in the matter. God had this thing planned AT LEAST 70 years ago and it was GONNA happen! What a God we serve!
