Obituary of Scott Lipsy

Scott Michael Lipsey, 47, of Zion, died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at home. He was born June 5, 1964 in Melrose Park, IL and moved to Zion 22 years ago from Waukegan. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church of Winthrop Harbor. He was also involved with of E.S.D.A. for many years and was a licensed minister. Survivors include his wife Deanne, children Ashley (Justin) Jackola, Casey Lipsey and Timothy Lipsey; mother and father Marge and Jerry Zehrung, one brother Jerry (Suzan) Zehrung and two sisters Lynn (Armando) Delgado and Shawn (Jeff) De Zetter. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 3001 9th Street, Winthrop Harbor, IL with Dr. Michael Brown officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until time of services on Monday.
