Obituary of Julia Snyder

Julia Elizabeth Snyder (Carberry), 90, of Waukegan, IL, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Rolling Hills Place, Zion, IL. Julia was born December 12, 1921, in South Milwaukee, WI, and married Gayle H. Snyder Sr. on November 1, 1941, in North Chicago, IL. She attended Calvary Harvest Church in Gurnee, IL. Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Gayle; children, Gayle H. Snyder Jr. of Winfield, KS, Ardis (Les) Harris of Crystal River, FL, and Donna (Victor K.) Geib of Beach Park, IL; grandchildren, Dawn Weidner, Scott Swanson, Victor Bryan (Tina) Geib, Rebecca (Todd) Lindley, and Rachel Geib (Brian Popp); nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Kim Carberry of CA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Effie Carberry; three sisters; two brothers; and grandson, Ryan Geib. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of her friends for all their wonderful memories.
