Obituary of Bradley Peters

Bradley S. "Brad" Peters, 62 of Zion, IL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2011, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. Brad was born January 30, 1949, in Waukegan, IL, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in1967. He was a very active member of the Zion Revival Center in Zion. Brad was retired from Westvaco Printing in Waukegan. A cancer survivor of more than nine years, Brad volunteered at the Midwestern Regional Medical Center and provided support for the patients. Brad loved his children and grandchildren, and was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He loved to fish. Survivors include his children, April, Phillip, and Ashley Peters; grandchildren, Aaron, Lorilei, Zoey, Samantha, Mary and Chris; mother, Miriam Kramer; sisters, Sandra (Ed) Westhoven and Cheri (Bruce) Paul; nephew, Rick (Ilene) Rudich; grand-nephew, Ross Rudich and many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Peters and brother, Kent Peters. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at the Zion Revival Center, 2413 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL, with Pastor Benny Ramos, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the "Do Unto Others" Fund to be established at Zion Revival Center in Bradley's name.
