Obituary of David Farias

David J. Farias, 58 of Beach Park, IL, formerly of Waukegan, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion. David was born December 1, 1953, in Waukegan, IL, and married Judy Whitlow on April 5, 1974, in Waukegan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. David was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Judy Farias; daughter, Kelly (Chuck) Wolf of Waukegan, IL; grandson, Christopher Wolf; mother, Aurora Farias of Kenosha, WI; brother, Ruben (Lynn) Farias of Waukegan, IL; sister, Anita Farias of Kenosha, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family.. He was preceded in death by a son, David Farias Jr.; father, Jose Farias; brother, Joseph Farias; and sister, Julie Farias. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 pm. until the time of service at the funeral home.
