Obituary of Alice Pasiewicz

Pasiewicz, Alice (nee Zabukovec) Alice Pasiewicz, 87, of Largo, Florida, formerly of North Chicago, Waukegan and Beach Park. Illinois died peacefully Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 in her Hospice Home in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin with her family by her side. She was born April 11, 1924 in Waukegan. She was retired from North Chicago Community High School. After retirement she moved to Florida where she spent the next 22 years. She was a member of the Moose, American Legion, SNPJ and of the Ladies Golf League in Florida. She was very proud of her Hole in One which she accomplished at the age of 85. She also enjoyed playing Cribbage, Bingo, Dancing, Scratch Offs and being around her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Bill) Marsh of Wadsworth, a son Edward (Gail) Pasiewicz of Beach Park, 1 brother John (Jennie) Zabukovec of Waukegan, 1 sister Maryann (Albert) Gilbert of Wadsworth. 7 Grandchildren, Billy (Jeanne) Marsh, Theresa (John) Brouillard, Michael, Lindy, Eric, Torie and Alex Pasiewicz. 6 Great-Grandchildren, Nick, Amanda, Tyler and Brianna Marsh and Emma and Jacob Brouillard. She Is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward (Buck) Pasiewicz. Her sister Mildred Terchek, her parents John and Mary Zabukovec and many sister-in-laws and brothers-in-law. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11:00 AM Monday, May 9th at our Lady of Humility Church in Zion. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Humility Church. Interment will be private for the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Luke's Hospital, especially Dr. Khatri's Office and to the Neuro Med, 10 LM Nursing Unit. Also, to Hospice Alliance, Inc. for their wonderful care as well as all of our family and friends for their help during Alice's illness.
