Obituary of Edgar Zumalt

Edgar Leon A resident of Berryville, Arkansas, formerly of Zion departed this life Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the age of 80 at his home In Berryville, Arkansas. He was born February 13, 1930 in Montgomery, Missouri, a son of Edgar and Permillia Jane (Coil) Zumwalt. On March 15, 1951, Edgar was united In marriage with Carlene Mae Guthrie. Edgar worked as a welder with the iron workers at Morton Manufacturing In Libertyville, IL. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. Edgar is survived by two sons, Donald (Susan) Zumalt of Beach Park, IL and Lester (Rhonda) Zumalt of Berryville, AR; four daughters, Vicki Marie Vleyra of Waukegan, IL, Donna (Lee) Foxvog of New Mexico, Patricia (Gil) Badger of Burlington, WI and Sheila (Victor) Medina of Milwaukee, WI; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Carlene, his parents, three brothers and one sister. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion, IL,
