Obituary of Benjamin Harman

Benjamin J. "Ben" Harman, 32, of Wadsworth, IL, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 21, 2011 at St. Lukes's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Ben was born, May 31, 1978, in Lake Forest, IL, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1998. He was employed by Tradesman International and was an avid mechanic of anything that traveled fast. Ben could basically repair anything, loved helping other people, and was a huge Chicago Bears fan. He was a hard working man with a gentle nature. Ben was honorable and caring and he loved his family and friends deeply. Ben is survived by the love of his life, Katy Cole of Waukegan, IL; sons, Logan and Jackson; mother, Mary Beeson of Wadsworth, IL; father, John Harman of CO; brother, Marc; sisters, Rachel, Sarah, and Emma; as well as brother, Chad of CO; and sister, Gayle of Mass. Ben is also survived by nieces , nephews and other family. Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and May Beeson and Keith and Florence Harman. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth. Interment is private for the family at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Memorial donations are suggested to an Educational Fund for Ben's children to be established at the First Midwest Bank of Waukegan.
