I wish to send my deepest condolences to the family of Thelma Cox. She was a very important part of my life during my formative teenage years. Valerie and I spent many hours in the kitchen with her, as she fixed us some dinner and talked to us like adults. She had such a sense of humor, and was so kind. She made difficult things seem simple and helped us laugh at ourselves. I will always remember her and her beautiful smile. I was blessed to know her. I send my love to the family.
