Obituary of Clara Webb

Clara R. Webb, 84, of Round Lake, IL, went to be with the Lord, peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 24, 2010, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Round Lake Beach. She was born September 19, 1926, in Creal Springs, IL. She owned a beauty salon in Waukegan, IL, for many years. Clara was formerly a member of Calvary Temple Church. She loved doing missions work where she also met her 2nd husband. Clara fulfilled her purpose in life by being a persistent teller of the old, old story of the power of death undone by an infant born in glory. We, her family, rest assured in the promise of that story, and rejoice in knowing that she is finally alive! Survivors include her three daughters, Pamela (Tom) Rhodes of Beach Park, Brenda (Paul) Webb-Hart of Zion, IL, and Carol Webb of Waukegan; Thomas Rhodes; grandchildren, Gina Blair, Heidi Rhodes, Ian Chapman, and Clover Chapman-Aldridge; three great grandsons, Tobias, age13, Soren, age 11, and Ryder, age 3 days. She was preceded in death by husbands, Donald Rector and Hollie Webb. Funeral services were private for the family. Clara's family expresses special thanks to Hillcrest Nursing Center and Vitas Hospice for their loving care.
