Obituary of Bernard Fell

Bernard T. "Bernie" Fell, 75, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at home. Bernie was born Feb. 12, 1935, in Evanston, and lived there until moving to Round Lake Beach in 1972. He retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation, also worked for McHenry Sand and Gravel and the Evanston Bus Company. Bernie was a veteran of the Army. He liked jazz, rock and soul music and he enjoyed the freedom of the open road while riding his Harley Davidson. Bernie is survived by his children, Sherry (Nick) Markobrad, Rusty Fell, Michael Fell and Tamra Fell; and four grandchildren, Jason Stevens, Samuel Markobrad, Claire Markobrad and Wyatt Roland. He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Fell; grandparents, Rose and Max Fell; and Aunt Ruth and Uncle Sol Cooper. A memorial motorcycle ride will be held in the spring.
