Obituary of James Booth

James A Booth; Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at his home in Winthrop Harbor, IL. James (Jim) was born in Tremont, MS on May 30, 1935. He owned Jim Booth & Sons Excavating for many years before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed his garden and loved spending time with his grandchildren & family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Jackie (nee Ruhl). His children include Lorrie (Mike) Sellers of Wadsworth, Randy (Sonja) Booth of Coloma, WI, Peri Booth of Gurnee, Sean (Andria) Booth of Rockford, Jamie (Rich) Shirling of Kenosha WI and James Booth Jr also of Kenosha WI, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves behind his sister, Glenda (Chuck) Clark of Beach Park and many extended relatives. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Russell James, and his parents, Alvie & Reva Booth. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday October 24, 2010, 2:00PM at the Zion Benton Moose Lodge #667, 41517 N Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL Memorial Donations can be made to the family or Catholic Charities of Lake County (671 S Lewis Ave., Waukegan IL 60085) whose assistance was invaluable via Jim's caregiver, Krystal Harmon.
