Obituary of Beverly Stern

Beverly A. Stern Beverly A. Stern, 67, of Zion, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at home, in Zion. Beverly was born April 12, 1943, in Harvard, IL, and married Eugene Stern on August 13, 1976, in Waukegan. She was a former employee of Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Eugene Stern, daughter, Wanda Michelle Stern of Winthrop Harbor, IL; son, Nicholas M. Stern of Iowa; granddaughter, Haley Stern; mother, Wanda Blair of Libertyville, IL; brother, Allen Blair of Winthrop Harbor, IL; sisters, Jeanie (Joe) Dempich of Whitewater, WI; Julie (Dave) Chernoff of Gurnee, IL, Audrey (Jose) DeJesus of Waukegan, IL, and Kathy Taylor of Kenosha, WI. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Forrest Blair; and brother, Rodney Gilbert Blair. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at Christian Faith Fellowship Church of Zion, 1727 27th St., Zion, Illinois.
