I still remember our days at USNH Great Lakes and our trips to see the "CUBS" play. I wish you smooth sailing as you go to meet the Supreme Commander

Dad had three rules; no skipping school, be respectful to others [especially to Mother], and above all be an honest person. Moreover, any discipline I received was due to an infraction to one of these rules. As a rebellious teen, on many occasions I caused him embarrassment and shame. However, as an adult, I had the privilege of talking to him many years later and emphatically apologizing for my adolescent behavior and he said that this is a good day! He had already forgiven me! Frankly, it was not until I had teens of my own before I understood his unselfish motives. Dad, I love you and will miss you until we meet again in Heaven. Your loving Son, David

So sorry to hear about your DAD. My deepest sympathy is with the family. I used to live in the suburbs of Chicago.

Betty and family, we are so very sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this sad time. Take comfort in knowing how loved you all were, how much everyone loved him and you now have this wonderful angel in heaven watching over all of you.

I will miss Daddy so much; however, I am comforted in knowing that he is just sleeping and when he wakes up he will be In that restored Paradise, enjoying life without end, free from all sickness and disease. (Revelation 21:1-4). The Bible promises: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.”—John 5:28, 29.
