Obituary of Nora Burrage

Nora Burrage, 96, of Wadsworth, Illinois died on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Clairidge House in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Nora was born July 26, 1914 in Tupelo, Mississippi and has lived in Zion most of her life. She retired in 1969 after working 25 years at the Veterans Administration Hospital in North Chicago. Nora enjoyed going to dinner with her friends and playing bingo. Survivors include her children, David (Barbara) Lesley of Wadsworth, Doris (William) Bullock of Provo, Utah and Mary Kujala of Provo, Utah; four grandchildren, Tammy, Larry, Candy and Kimberly; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings Roy, Webb, Joe and Carl Crane. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Rev. Jeffrey Koth officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
