I have so many fond memories of Aunt Ede but there is one that sticks out the most and one my husband and I remember frequently. Aunt Ede was cutting the cake at our wedding reception. Aunt Ede loved to be frugal :) and she told me she could cut the cake so that everyone would receive a piece from only 1 tier. I told her it was ok to cut the pieces big enough to use the whole cake. She said, "All right, if that's what you want." This still puts a smile on my face. I will miss her. To Karla and Paul and the rest of Aunt Ede's family and the Daily sisters, my condolences and you will be in my prayers.
