Obituary of Patricia Trygar

Patricia "Patty" Trygar, 59, of Park City, Illinois lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, August 7, 2010. She was born May 18, 1951 in Highland Park, Illinois. She was employed by St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukegan after retiring from AVAYA where she worked for 32 years. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Highland Park, Illinois. Patty loved antiquing, gardening and traveling. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Michael; two sisters, Kathy Friedlund and Mary Lou (Ray) Scripture; one brother, Jim (Cindy) Kilkenny; a nephew, Don (Samantha) Friedlund; a niece, Jennifer Friedlund; two great-nephews, Sean and Noah Friedlund; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Kilkenny. Patty will be sadly missed and was loved by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1696 McGovern St. Highland Park, Illinois, with Pastor Gene Lankford and Rev. Jeffrey E. Koth officiating. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society have been suggested,
