I was sad to learn of Carl's passing. He was a great guy and a great friend for many years. We worked together at MunderColor and shared a bond only guitar players understand. I saw him play lead guitar with his band "The Avalons" when I was about 12 years old, and knew I wanted to do what "That big tall kid with glasses" was doing. He was one of the reasons I learned to play guitar, and I think about him often. I will remember his good-heartedness, his wit, and his super-intelligence. Tom and Liz Rutledge
