Obituary of Martha McKinney

Martha Ann McKinney, 59, of Zion, passed away Tuesday May 1st at her home. She was preceded in death by her father and mother (James and Modell McKinney). She leaves behind two brothers, David McKinney (Patti) of Kathleen, Ga, Jerry McKinney of Zion and one sister Shirley Swalley of Beach Park. Four nieces Shanna Christensen (Ben Blanchard) of Wadsworth, Stacy Swalley Creamer (Kenny) of Zion, Carrie McKinney Hollars (Christopher) of Durham, Nc., Kelli McKinney of Raleigh, Nc., one grandniece and two grandnephews. She worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation of 19 years. There will be a private family service. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Diabetes Foundation.
