Obituary of Lawrence Stevens

Lawrence A. "Larry" Stevens Lawrence A. "Larry" Stevens, 78, of Beach Park, IL, died on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born May 16, 1931, in Taunton, Mass. Larry married Margaret Punzel on September 27, 1969, in Lake Mills, WI. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Zion. Larry retired as an employee of the IBEW Local #134 in Chicago in 1990 and also was a member of the same Local. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. Larry was a loving husband and beloved father. His favorite hobby was fishing. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret; children, Richard Stevens of Kenosha, WI, and Michelle Stevens of Interlaken, FL; grandchildren, Tyler Inman, Jordyn Lee Stevens, and Brianna Robertson; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawrence and Maria Stevens; brother, Richard Stevens; and sister, Lillian Humphries. Services are private for the family.
