When we lose a loved one in death we may become overwhelmed with grief. The Bible tells us Jesus wept when his dear friend Lazarus died. Yet, just minutes later, Jesus performed an astounding miracle - he raised Lazarus back to life. (John 11:32-44) In so doing, he gave all mankind solid grounds for faith in the amazing promise he had made earlier in his ministry when he said:"The hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) May the precious hope of a resurrection to life on a restored paradise earth comfort you in the loss of your loved one.

Dear Danny, Myna, Harriet and Families, Our deepest sympathy in the death of your beloved Mother. She was a wonderful woman and we will surely miss her. I just read about her death this morning in the News Sun just before leaving for a flight to Houston. I will not be able to attend the funeral.
