Obituary of Daniel Schreiber

Daniel "Dan" Walter Schreiber, 52, of Zion, IL, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2010. He was a loving husband, father and brother. He was united in marriage to Jeanne Bajus on March 23, 1996. Dan was the owner of D&D Remodeling and was a member of the ZB Alano Club and a friend of Bill W. An avid fisherman and animal lover, Dan had a generous heart and was always seen with a smile on his face. He was also a devoted Cubs and Bears fan. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Jeanne; daughter, Michelle ( fiancé, Joe Tuma) Hoppe ; sisters, Susan (John) Polich, and Sandie (Jim) Meistad; numerous nieces, nephews and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elaine Schreiber. Although no longer with us, Dan will remain in our hearts, forever. Visitation will be Sunday, April 18, 2010, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL., with a service at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested to the family or The American Heart Association.
