Obituary of Timothy Rossmann

Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, Beach Park. ~ Timothy Shane Rossmann Jr., 36, of Winthrop Harbor, died on Sunday, February 14, 2010. Tim was born February 21, 1973, in Waukegan, IL, and was a 1991 graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School. He married his soul mate and partner for life Carla Higgins on August 18, 2007, on Lake Michigan. Tim was employed by Specialty Printing in Niles, IL, and the Printing Factory in Mundelein, IL. Survivors include his wife Carla, son Taylor Rossmann of Libertyville, IL; daughter, Katy Higgins of Winthrop Harbor, IL; father, Timothy (Deborah) Rossmann Sr. of Zion, IL, mother, Barbara Rossmann of Zion, IL; sister, Shanda (Jason) Hoenig of Winthrop Harbor, IL; mother-in-law, Patricia Higgins of Zion, IL grandmother, Audrey Orawiec of Winthrop Harbor, IL; sister-in-law., Micki (Otis Wilson) Higgins; niece Jaycie Hoenig; nephew, Cody Hoenig; niece, Jacey Higgins Wilson; mother of Taylor Rossmann, Tanya Taylor of Libertyville, IL; his best friend in the whole world, DeWayne Callahan; loving friends, Tom and Cindy Pittsley; aunts uncles, cousins, in-laws; and loved by many, many, friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Ruth Rossmann; and Karol Orawiec. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 Wadsworth Rd., Beach Park. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 5:00-9:00 p.m at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion.
