Obituary of Joseph Ianson

Jospeh B. Ianson Sr., 49, of Beach Park, IL, died on Monday, February 15, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. Joe was born March 7, 1960,in Waukegan, and was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School. He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park, and owned North Shore Heavy Equipment. Joe was a member of NHRA and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman and a Chicago BlackHawks and Chicago White Sox fan. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Donna, nee Robbins; children, Joseph B. Ianson Jr. of Kenosha, WI, and Chad and Ashleigh Ianson; father and mother, Lyle and Pat Ianson; brother, Russ (Laurie) Ianson of Pleasant Prairie, WI, sister, Sue (Arv) Walters of Zion, IL, brother, Steve (Jackie) Ianson of Lake Villa, IL, and sister, Ruth (Jeff) Dykiel of Antioch, IL. He is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ianson; and grandparents. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 Wadsworth Rd., Beach Park. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 5:00-9:00 p.m at Congdon Funeral Home. 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL.
