Dear Manoian Family, I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing and even more sorry that I didn't stay in touch the past 7 years. I was the Gen. Mgr. at Orchard Hills until I left for Japan in 1997. Ed was a large part of the OH family during my tenure there. Despite his many efforts, I am still just a mediocre golfer but I cannot think of even one round of golf where I don't hear his helpful tips echo in my head - Now, if I could only apply them! I last spoke with Ed in 2002 after I returned from overseas. My husband and I and a couple others from Orchard HIlls went to see him a couple times at the assisted living facility where he resided. My loss that I didn't see him again. Ed always spoke so highly of his family. He was very proud of his wife and children. I'm sure you will miss him very much. I always enjoyed the time I spent with him. Whether just listening to his history, great golf stories or playing golf with him, I'm a better person for having known him. I wish you all a long and prosperous life. With Deepest Sincerity, Pat and Bill Drennen

My condolences and that of the Sahagian family to all of Ed's family. What wonderful memories I have of Ed, especially at the Armenian Open golf outings. My father, Vern Sahagian, liked Ed so much. It was obvious that was true for all the others. Ed was a part of the beautiful mosaic of all of these friends of such character, that gave models and principles that the generations to follow would everlastingly benefit from and pass on, one way or another, in the beautiful circle of life. I am thankful to have known him, and am truly saddened to hear of his loss to those of us who remain.

I visited Ed "Minnow" a few times at Rolling Hills, and he was always delighted to have visitors and to chat. He enjoyed talking of old times as he knew our parents and always a story followed. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Sonia Bedrosian; Andrew and Annette Hagopian

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss of a great man. As a former manager at Great Lakes Golf Course and a visitor to him in Dunedin, I remember him well. A favorite saying of his was "anyone can hit an acorn" . Another was "the only thing coming down is rain and snow" and Ed you are surely going up. God Bless and I will forever remember you.
