Yes, Grandma Stried is indeed going from mansion to mansion, still blessing everyone with her gifted and unique sense of humor. My sister and I have often wondered if she acquired such a special humor while attempting to teach our Sunday School Class. It certainly required much prayer, patience, and a lot of humor! My fondest memories are of that same Sunday School Class during our adolescent/teen-age years when we were so impressionable. Mildred Stried's influence upon our lives will always be evident. She was an extremely unselfish person and sacrificed her time and money to take our class of 4 girls to her cabin in Wisconsin. The rest will go unmentioned... While it has been 40 years, give or take some, those times are fresh in my mind and in my heart. She was always there if anyone needed her; a very self-sacrificing lady. What an impact we would have on this world if we all left such a legacy. Blessings to Mildred's family.
