Obituary of Elaine Eibel

Elaine I. Eibel, 80, of Hoffman Estates, IL, died on Monday, January 4, 2010, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Elaine was born January 12, 1929, in Chicago, and was a graduate of Steinmetz High School. She married her late husband, Kenneth Eibel in 1950, in Chicago. Elaine enjoyed playing tennis at the Woodfield Tennis Club. She also loved gardening, bird watching, all of nature, and was an avid reader. More than anything, she was fond of her family. Survivors include her children, Gail (Jerry) Butts of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Keith (Donna) Eibel of Roseburg, Oregon; grandchildren, Aaron Clark, Jennifer Roi, and Jakob, Cole, Alexis, Lucas and Mitchell Eibel; great-grandchildren, Christopher Roi and Mollie Clark; and nieces, Lynn (Bob) Gilly of Roselle, IL, and Leslie (Larry) Prast of Burr Ridge, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 1994; sister, LaVerne Eibel and brother-in-law, LeRoy Eibel. Chapel Interment will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 Milwaukee Ave. Des Plaines, IL.
