Obituary of Mary Lou Winter
Mary Lou Winter, 85, passed away on Sunday April 29, 2012. She was born on May 1, 1927 to Ralph and Marie MacFarland in Racine, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Junior Dean Winter, her parents Ralph & Marie MacFarland, and her sisters Ruth Kosterman and Mildred Gregory.
She is survived by her son Bruce (Razel) Winter, granddaughter Tabitha (Mark) Flax, sister Connie Sharp, sister Lucile (Marv) Bohlman, and her nieces and nephews. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and person. Mary Lou always put others first and was a kind and caring woman. For most of her professional life she was a secretary for the Board of Education in North Chicago, Illinois.
For the majority of her life, she lived in Racine Wisconsin, Waukegan Illinois, and Fox Lake Illinois. She now resides in heaven with God.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday May 3 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, Illinois. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine, Wisconsin. Visitation will be before mass from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Humility Church.
