I remember waiting on Mary Lynn and Loren at Rooks from 1987-1996. We used to race to their table to take care of them. Mary Lynn was always so sweet and had only kind words of encouragement for anyone who met her. Her sincerity, humor, and gracious and generous nature is an example for all of us. It was a privilege and honor to know her.

Mary Lynn I am sorry that we have lost you. However I do offer this to family and friends. Mary Lynn has given us a gift to remember her by for the rest of our days. Her love of family and friends. No one that she has ever met will forget her even if they only spoke for a few moments. I was privileged to know her from childhood and she was a glowing example of what a great person should be. Rest In Peace. You will be sorely missed.

Loren, I was so sorry to read of you loss. You had just reintroduced yourself to me at my Mom's funeral this fall and we had talked about Mary Lynn. Growing up with Roger, church activities, etc., you and Mary Lynn there in my life. I looked for you in your guard uniform when I pulled into the church parking lot. I guess that being away from Zion for so many years, I somehow felt that you all were still there just like I'd left you. You will be in my prayers. Sue Biddle Hartrick

Mary Lynn, When I think back on the all the fun we had. The laughing and crazy things we did. As I remember you and look back it makes me smile. You always had a young heart and a heart for the young. Now I know you are singing and laughing with the angles and are tap dancing on streets of Gold and not in the parking lots with me. I will see you again my friend, in Heaven. Carol Davis Weber

Mary Lynn was a wonderful person and a great friend to me and my whole family. I will miss seeing her outside on her porch and visiting with her when I am in town. My heart and thoughts go out to Loren and the rest of her family. She will be greatly missed by SO many. I am happy that she is at peach now and that she is with the Lord. She deserves all that Heaven has to give and then some.

We could always count on Mary Lynn to have a smiling face. She was so welcoming and positive whenever we were around her. She supported us when we were young singles and was there to help us down the aisle at our wedding 25 years ago. She always had a happy attitude and we felt uplifted whenever we talked to her. It is hard to believe she has passed on from this world. It is also hard to imagine Camp Zion without her. She will be missed, but we will see her again in heaven...Praise God for that hope!
