Obituary of Mary Hollingsworth

Mary E. Hollingsworth, 76, of Zion, Illinois, died on Friday, December 18, 2009 at home. Mary was born May 28, 1933 in Montpelier, Vermont and traveled the world with her husband, the late Jack Hollingsworth before he retired from the Navy and settled in Waukegan in the early 1960's. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Pamela (James) Grahn of Zion, William (Rosie) Hollingsworth of Lake Villa, Illinois and Christina (Matt) Alers of Round Lake, Illinois; three grandchildren, Jeff (Tiffany) Grahn, currently serving with the United States Army 10th Mountain Division in Iraq, Heather Grahn and Jake Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren, Makayla Grahn, Mathew Rosado, Joshua Grahn and soon-to-be Abigail Grahn; and close friends, Jerry & Marge Zehrung of Gurnee and Geri Leone of Zion. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dodie; one brother, Raymond; and her parents. Services will be private for the family. Memorial donations to American Heart Association have been suggested.
