Dear Dorothy and Family, We are saddened to hear of your loss. We were blessed to have known Phil both at work and at church. He always had a friendly greeting and loving concern for us which we appreciate greatly. May you be comforted with God's peace as you recall the memories you share of Phil as husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and look forward to being reunited in heaven. Condolences from, Dave and Judy Cook

December 14, 2009 I have known him my whole life. I have very good memories from him and Grandma Dorothy. I also was his neighbor which I was honored to be. I always tried to keep up with my yard and he would mow his twice a week. And had his home looking so very nice. Every time I was out there I would always go say hi or just to talk. He would always want the walnuts from my walnut tree to make things from which the squirrels would steal from the garage and also there is this tree in my yard that I planted and thought it died but he kept saying water it keep watering it and I did and now it is about 20 feet tall and still growing, so now when I see that tree I think of him and will always. It is hard everyday to look out my window and see there beautiful house and knowing that he isn't here any more. Also I just seen him at Aunt Char's funeral about a month ago and no matter what was going on he was always so happy and a wonderful person to talk to. Christmas was always nice when I was younger and remembering the way everyone would make you feel at home. I will miss him very much. He is now in a place where he can run, and hear (what we say) and no more pain. I will truly miss you always... You will be missed by so many people you have touched there hearts. Love You Always

Dear Vicki, I just read about your Dad on the class of 68 website, so thought I'd email and let you know I send my sympathies to you and your family. My Dad passed away 2 years ago this month, and my Mom passed away 6 months later...so I understand...May you and your family sense God's peace and comfort as you adjust to your loss...He is faithful!

I knew Mr. Wright when I worked at the Zion State Bank. He was always greeting you with a smile and warm hello. To the family and his many friends, I wish to give my sincere condolences. He was a wonderful man. It's very hard to lose a loved one at the holiday season; my mom died 10 years ago on the 15th, and I hope you will always remember those wonderful years when he was with us here on earth. Becky and I went to school together, so I do know some of the family. May the Lord bless you all during this time and grant you peace. Bernice
