Dad, I know you're at rest now in heaven, and happier than you have been in quite a while. You're with mom, grandma & grandpa, Jack & Eileen, and Cody, all whom you have missed so very much. I love you and will miss you.

To all of Uncle Bud's kids and their spouses, grandkids, and great grandkids: It was wonderful seeing Uncle Bud and all of you the other night. These last couple of days, I keep thinking of all of the wonderful things said about Uncle Bud and all of the awesome pictures of the family from past years. It was truly amazing! Thank you all for the pictures. They mean so much to my entire family. I will be sending them out to CA tomorrow. I will also send you a copy. Uncle Bud was an amazing guy. I remember his simple smile and tolerance of our silly behaviors as we grew up together and had so much fun. You are right, David, he would never say a bad word about anyone! What a comfort it is knowing that he is celebrating eternity with his Savior now and all of those loved ones who went before him! Let's keep in touch. Love you all, Jill

I do not have many memories of Uncle Bud but the ones that I do have are of a kind man with a gentle smile.I remember being a little girl at Campbell family Memorial Day picnics and watching Bud have a beer with his brothers while I ran around and played with cousins. Bud came to visit us years ago in Tucson with Cecilia and Dave. I very clearly remember the picnic we had together and Bud's big smile. My most vivid memory, though, is of my visit to Waukegan when I was 16 in 1982. I had driven with my Grandma and Grandpa (Jack and Eileen) from Tucson to Waukegan to attend Jill's wedding. I stayed at Bud and Nita's house for a few nights. I don't remember Bud saying much but there is one phrase that he repeated I think every night, "It's good sleeping weather!" I am so very sorry for your loss. My girls and I will remember you all in our prayers. Mary

Hello to all my cousins and their spouses! Well, there's only one Campbell boy left now. Almost an end to a lovable and memorable era. We will all miss Uncle Bud's kind words and brilliant smile. We know he's resting in the arms of his Savior, free from any pain or discomfort. Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday. Love from Jane

Dad I will miss you! I am happy you are in heaven with mom now. The last several months were very difficult for you. You respectfully and with grace brought your life to a close. Everyone that knows you will miss you. You were the happy whistler and the polite man that everyone liked. Never a bad word or hurtful thought. I will miss you POPS.

Dad, It's hard to look around now and not see something or someone that you touched. You were always there for anyone who needed your help. I can remember going along with you to help fix Uncle Harry's furnace, or Uncle Cody's kitchen sink, anybody that needed your help as you could fix just about anything. In your last days, you would say "I don't know what I'm going to do", and now it's us that don't know what we're going to do without you. I am so glad that you have finally found the eternal peace that you so justly earned and that you are once again with Mom, Uncle Jack and Aunt Eileen and Uncle Cody, your Mother and Father, and all the relatives and friends you've missed over the years. I miss you Dad, and I look forward to the day when I will once again be able to shake your hand and thank you for all you've done. Give Mom a hug and a kiss for me, Love, Greg
