We were very saddened to hear of Don's passing. We will forever cherish the memories and will be forever grateful for the love and support of Don during Roger's illness and passing. My condolences go out to the Gaines Family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad I got to see Don several years ago when I was reentering the Navy. He sure was a proud father and grandfather. While I didn't really know Uncle Donny very well, my brother Denny (Denver Lee) always speaks highly of him. I know he will be missed and I feel for his loving family.
Our prayers our with the family. Sure will miss sitting around with Don at the various parties and talking about old Navy stories and he had a lot to share. We know, Keith, will definitely miss the deviled eggs. :)
