Dear Grandpa, Lately there has been a lot of loss and sadness within our family. Thanks for helping all of us become so strong. I will always remember the good times. In your passing you showed us that it is ok and somehow life will go on. We remember how much you enjoyed good eats. We have taken turns sitting in your comfortable blue chair. We also all miss you very much. One day I hope we look back at this time of struggle and see how it all worked out for us and makes some kind of sense. These waves of death and sickness crashing down on us will not make us drown they will only make us stronger swimmers. Love Chad

Uncle Bob, some of the best memories of my life include the times I spent with you and your family. Whether it was having breakfast on the front lawn of your house on the beach in Zion or a weekend in Hayward, I'll always remember the great times we had. My childhood and my life would not have been the same without you. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Rosalie, Dale, Craig, Sandra, and Families: It was only via Dale's e-mail messages yesterday and today that we learned of Bob's passing away in October and Dawn's passing away last Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers and sympathy are with you all at this time of loss. Although it has been a long time since we have seen each other, it's hard to remember a time when the Anderson family and the Risberg family didn't know each other! We shared so many fun times together in Hayward, at Whitefish, at Upper Eau Claire, and in Zion. I remember learning how to drive a standard transmission vehicle at Whitefish. I think it was Dad's International Harvester Travelall, which I remember later referring to as "the jolly green giant!" I don't think the ride was the smoothest, more due to my inexperience with the clutch than the condition of the roads, but I remember Bob's laughter and encouragement, and what could have been a scary experience instead was a fun adventure, thanks to your family's help! The picture you selected of Bob for this website remembrance is such a good one, as I always remember Bob with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes. He enjoyed life! Although we will always miss our loved ones who have passed away before us, I hope that Bob and Dawn and my Mom, who passed away on July 26, are smiling down on each of us now and always. It is a comfort to know that they are no longer held captive by the medical issues of their earthly lives. God has prepared a place for them in Heaven with Him! May God comfort all of you. Love, Martha (Risberg) and Jon Heisel I know that my Dad, Perry, would want me to express his sympathy to all of you at this time, too.
