I had the honor of working with Lynn for five years or so at Catholic Charities. I always appreciated her sense of humor, her ever present smile and greatly enjoyed discussing her latest book with her. We worked closely together on grants and grant reports on a regular basis. She was always ready to lend a hand to whomever who needed it, whether it was her responsibility or not. She was a true team player. She was also was one of the kindest hearted people I know. She frequently spoke of her daughters and grandkids and loved you all so much. Words cannot express my sorrow in learning of her passing and my greatest sympathies go out to her family. She will be truly missed. Amy Hennings

Dear Wendy and family, I want to send my sincere condolences to you and your family. I feel honored to have known both of your parents. It was always fun to go to your house while we were in high school and talk with them. You are often on my mind. I hope you find the peace and strength you need at this difficult time. Sincerely, Kathy Rife Anselmo

So very sorry for you loss. I worked with Lynn at Catholic Charities until I retired in September 2006. Lynn was a good co-worker and friend. I have fond memories of her talking about good books that she had recently read and current events. Knowing that Lynn is in a better place and no longer in any pain should give you peace as you deal with her passing.

Lynn was a very special person to us and we valued her friendship tremendously. We always enjoyed the time we got to spend with her when she was in Florida - she had great insight into people and we are honored to have known her. Lynn was a great inspiration of how a life should be lived, not by telling but by doing. We will miss her smile and the way she made us feel.

Loving thoughts & prayers are with you all. I love you Michele! Aunt Lynn was such a wonderful person!! Although I did not get to see her often, I will miss her very much. I always enjoyed talking with her & hearing stories. I can remember being very small & going to their house in Illinois :-) I also remember the very special Christmas I was able to spend with her, Uncle Ralph, Wendy & Michele one year. I will always cherish my special memories with Aunt Lynn & my Uncle Ralph, too. They were both so very special to me! I love you Aunt Lynn & I am so happy you are now in a better place, with no pain or discomfort.
