We have lost a wonderful lady. I have very fond memories of Aunt Gerry. She treated me like I was one of her kids. She treated all the kids in the family as her own. Her obituary mentions wannabee's. I can't say I wanted to be, because I always felt like I was. When visiting her she always tried to give you a cool drink or something to eat. She was always doing things for others. I have so many memories of her at Grandma Casey's house. She was always cooking, cleaning, or taking care of someone I can remember her on a hundred degree day. No air conditioning. She would be in the kitchen cooking chicken and dumplings, or baking. I will never forget how hard she worked to keep everyone around her happy and well fed. She will forever be remembered for her caring, easy going manner and the love she had for family. God bless you Aunt Gerry.
