Obituary of Linda Stratton

Linda Fay Stratton, (nee Betancourt), 54, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, formerly of Waukegan and Zion, IL, died on Monday, April 23, 2012 at home following a lengthy illness. Linda was born February 5, 1958 in Waukegan. She was a member of Northpoint Church of Winthrop Harbor. Linda had worked for Victory Memorial Hospital and later at Kenosha Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her fiancé Paul Pavelski; children Bill (Jeanette) Stratton of Apollo Beach, FL and Melissa (Tom) Baldwin of Pleasant Prairie, WI; three grandchildren Zachary, Kailani, and Joey; her father Jose Betancourt of Zion, IL; siblings Johnny Betancourt of Kenosha, WI, Cathy Fox of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Brenda (Jim) Kratovil of Zion, IL; her best friend Robin Schnider of Kenosha, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Fay Betancourt; her brother Joey Betancourt; and her brother-in-law Al Fox. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Pastor Tim Bycroft officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park, Beach Park, IL.
