Obituary of Frank Ray

Frank Michael Ray, 56, of Beach Park, IL died on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at home following a long illness. Frank was born October 18, 1954 in Memphis, TN and had lived in this area most of his life. He owned and operated of ME CO Excavating of Beach Park. Frank enjoyed his motorcycle and the outdoors, especially boating. He also enjoyed his Chicago Bears games with his friends and spending time with his family. Survivors include one daughter DeAnna Ray, of Algonquin, IL; one son, Randy Ray of Clearwater,FL; three grandchildren Isabelle Ray, Nicholas Ray, and Gabriel Papachristopoulos; his father William G. Ray of Golden, MS; his brother Rick Ray of Beach Park, IL one sister Tiffany Ray of Muscle Shoals, AL; his aunts Case Martin, Bev Gyger, and Sharon (Dick) Roy; his uncle Ron (Donna) Nissen; two nieces Stacy (Anthony) Ray Duty and Tina Booth; two nephews Rick (Kari) Ray and John (Lisa) Booth; and a very special and loving friend, Brenda Drolet. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lynn Ray; one sister Pamela Ray Silvia; and an infant brother Billie G. Ray. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion .
