Obituary of Harold Nunn

Harold B. Nunn, 50, of Zion, was called home on Friday, August 28, 2009 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Harold was born September 20, 1958 in Advance, Missouri and has lived in Zion most of his life. He attended Biblical Baptist Church of Beach Park, Illinois. Harold worked many years in construction. He enjoyed old western movies, cat-fishing, camping, and dancing to Spanish music with his girls. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family. He will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. He is survived by his former wife, Susie; four children, Jessica 33, Tina 27, Heidi 23 and Samuel Nunn 16 all of Zion; two grandsons, Emmanuel Landa 5 and Fabian Nunn 5; two sisters, Brenda Turner of Zion, Pauline (Kenny) LaForge of Antioch; and four brothers, Leoid Nunn of Zion, Larry Nunn of Zion, Paul Nunn of Round Lake Beach and Rick (Debbie) Nunn of Waukegan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary Nunn; as well as a sister Patricia Gregorio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening, September 3, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be Friday, September 4th, at 10:30 a.m., at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family are appreciated.
