Obituary of Irvin Kamieniecki

Irvin S. "Irv" Kamieniecki, 57, of Beach Park, formerly of Zion and Chicago, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Irv was born on April 3, 1952, in Chicago , and graduated from Kelvyn Park High School in 1970. He married Vickie Holman on June 4, 1972, in Chicago. Irv was a former owner of Marathon Gas Station in Beach Park and prior to that was an automobile salesman. He was loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Vickie Kamieniecki; son, Steven Kamieniecki of Winthrop Harbor; daughter, Heather Kamieniecki of Beach Park; grandson, Nathan Kamieniecki; father, Steve (Cecelia) Kamieniecki of Niles, IL; sisters, Elizabeth Jewgieniew of IN, and Diane Mazmanian of Chicago; and 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera, and son, Christopher Kamieniecki. A Chapel Interment Service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
