Obituary of Ahmad Nuruddin

Ahmad Nuruddin, 60, of Zion, Illinois, died on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his home. Ahmad was born June 20, 1949 in Waukegan, Illinois. He was a member and one of the earliest converts helping to establish the Ahmadiyya Jama'at in the Waukegan area. Recently diagnosed with stage-4 cancer, Ahmad passed away only 46 days after his initial diagnosis. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Bonner, his sister Carolyn Jett, his wife of 40-years Aneesa (Razaa) and nine children: Anthony & Melvin Young, Joseph Morris, Dante Brown, Najeeb and Saleel Nuruddin, Crystal Taylor, Shakurah Grumbacher, and Abidah Ghanniy: as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ahmad was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jones.
