Obituary of Jesus Gomez

Jesus Gomez, 74, of Waukegan, died on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Jesus was born December 9,1934,. In EL Llanno, Mich, Mexico. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Soledad; children, Monica (Diego) Martinez of Waukegan, Beatriz (Rogelio) Fajardo of Beach Park, Jesus(Araceli)Gomez Jr. of San Diego, CA, Joaquin Gomez of Waukegan, Olivia (Jose) Hernandez of Zion, and Gutavo (Monica) Gomez of Waukegan; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 5 brothers; and many, many, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, Daniel and Ignacia Gomez; and brother, Ignacio Gomez. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2009, from 6:00-9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
