Obituary of Pauline Freiday

Pauline M. Freiday, 88, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. Pauline was born November 23, 1920, in Lee County, MS, and was a former employee of Abbott Laboratories. She was very active for years at the Cancer Treatment Center of America as a volunteer and received numerous awards for her dedication. Pauline loved and adored her family and was happiest when surrounded by them. Survivors include her husband, Earl; son, Powell (Norma) Moore of Antioch, IL; daughter, Sue Wick of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Cary (Diane), Craig, and Chris Wick; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Wick; sisters, Nell (George) McKinney of Zion, IL, Helen Butler of MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 6, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment will be private for the family. Friends may greet the family on Monday, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
