Obituary of Amy Swanson

Amy Francis Swanson, 84, of Winthrop Harbor, was called home on March 19, 2009. Amy was born May 23, 1924 in Hamilton, SD. She is survived by her son, Ronald Swanson of Zion; her daughter, Betty (Al) Gonzales of Winthrop Harbor; two granddaughters, Rhonda (William) Edwards of Kentucky and Miranda Gonzales of Winthrop Harbor; a great-grandson, Sebastian Edwards; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd K. Swanson; one grandson, John Wayne Swanson; and other loved ones. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
