Alsena worked as a Dietitian assistant at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL. For a few years, she delivered Meals on Wheels to various people and often laughed because so many of the people were in her age bracket. When there were family "get-to-gethers", singing was often a part of it. She would sing to her children, grandchildren, ect. A gentle soul and yes she will be missed but she knew the Lord Jesus was wanting to "go home" and will be waiting for those who also know Jesus as Saviour.
