Obituary of Ann Talley

Ann Marie Talley (nee Corcoran), 63, of Zion, was called peacefully home by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago with her family by her side. She was born June 14, 1945 in Waukegan and has lived most of her life in Zion. She spent the majority of her life as a wonderful homemaker. Her life was her family - her husband, children, and especially the grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James; daughters, Theresa Galvan of Zion and Lisa (Tony) Wright of Round Lake; son, Mark Talley of Zion; her grandchildren, the apples of her eye, Ashley Talley in Turkey, Jared Galvan, Isaiah and Mariah Wright; her father, Patrick Corcoran of Waukegan; her siblings, Patricia Belec of Texas, Sharon Corcoran of Florida, Patrick Corcoran Jr. of Florida, Cathrine Andrade of Zion, Timothy Corcoran of Zion, Denise Lawrence of Florida, Brian Corcoran of Texas, Maureen Cullum of Florida and Shawn Corcoran of Texas; and in her heart, she held a special place for Steve and Leah She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew James Talley; her mother, Lorraine Pepe; and siblings, Joseph Corcoran, Francis Marie Pepe, Mary Corcoran and Michael Corcoran. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2009, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Biblical Baptist Church, 39236 N. Green Bay Road, Beach Park, Illinois, where a funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Petrick officiating. Private interment will be later at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family have been suggested.
